How bout this for frickin' great news. El Tigre won two Annie awards a couple of weeks ago over in L.A. The catagories it won in where Character Design in an Animated TV Production (Jorge R. Gutierrez) and Best Animated TV Production for Children. It was also nominated for Best Music in a TV Production and Monica Kennedy of Bouldermedia (pictured above inbetween Dave Thomas, her boyfriend Aiden, Sandra Equihua and Jorge Gutierrez) was nominated for Best Character Animation in a TV Production. Unfortunatly Moni didn't pick up the award but she well deserved the nomination.
It's a shame the show won't be going on any further but it left on a super high note.
