Unicorn

Here's a little drawing Layla did for me over the weekend. She saw my little Unicorn I drew a while back and wanted to draw me her version of it. I prefer hers!

The Grand Total...

How about that. The grand total raised for the Animation Art Show was way above 2012's total. 12,500 euros raised for The Jack and Gill Foundation and LauraLynn House. Needless to say both charities were over the moon with the money raised and will go to helping out those families.

Nunu went to a wonderful little girl called Mia, who promised to look after him with lots of love and cuddles. She sent me this picture of him settling in in his new home hahahahahaha!!!
Roll on Next year!

Lucky Break!

A lovely lady from Damn Fine Print saw my piece from "The Art of Superstition" exhibition and mailed me about this upcoming event ran by Damn Fine Print, called "Sounds Damn Fine". Running of the success of last years Damn Fine Dublin exhibition they wanted to do it again to celebrate the unveiling of their brand new screenprinting studio in Smithfield.

 So I did a piece.
It had to be a two colour design, as the posters are going to be screenprinted, inspired by a song or lyric
And....

I got selected to be part of the exhibition. I couldn't really believe it. Never in an exhibition and then two in the matter of a couple of months. I can't really say how excited I am...but I am! I have to keep my piece under wraps until the teasers come out on the FB page. Top Secret you see. But they are putting new ones up every day. So do check em out.

If you would like to find out more about Damn Fine Print check out their Facebook Page here
It is going to be a very exciting event, with lots of Art and Music. So save the date and head along on the 5th of December.

The Copper House Gallery- The Art of Superstition

Here's a couple of snaps from the Art of Superstition exhibition I was part of. I was so happy to see what a beautiful job the framers did with my piece. It was a great night and the exhibition itself was full of super talented people that I was delighted to have shared the event with. The exhibition has been extended another couple of weeks due to popular demand and there are talks of it going on tour. Exciting!!!
Thanks to Illustrators Ireland, The Copper House Gallery, my Da, and all my Buddies for coming along to support me in my first ever exhibition.
You guys rock.
