It was the night before Christmas.....and yes some of us are still in work!!! Really looking forward to a few days off to chillax. Have a great Christmas to all and to all a goodnight x

I haven't been drawing but I have been really busy in work with the new project and with still no computer it makes things pretty difficult to squeeze in any blogwork. We have taken loads of staff on and every day seems to be another challenge but we are getting there....kinda.
To make up for the complete lack of recent artwork in the last couple of months, which I had already made an excuse for in my last pathetic post I decided to show you all my fish. Darwin (those of you who I work with will know why I picked this name) is the one with what looks like he is wearing and orange swimming cap, an Oranda. Finch is the big black one, a Black Moor and then if you look really closely there is one of the mob, a Minnow he is really small. There used to be two more in his gang but due to unfortunate mobster activity in their bowl they sadly passed away. I only bought Darwin at the weekend and he seems to be fitting in quite nicely although Finch has to be quicker for his food now. Which he always finds hard to see because his ginormous bulbous eyes are at the side of his head.Hope to post something exciting (art) really soon.
Gill.

Had a very quite Easter so rather than stuffin' myself with easter eggs I decided I would try my hand at makin' one of my little monsters into a real monster. I haven't really used a sewing machine properly before so it was vwery, vwery interesting. At one stage I had sown his arm on the insideout part....DOH! He is kinda bockety here and there and alot of everywhere but I think that adds character (well, that's what I'm sticking too).
Oh and his arms are suposed to be that long and his legs that short....a few people have said did ye mix the arms up on the legs? Nope, that was intentional!!!
Hey now everybody. Here is some great news. I have adopted a little Shih Tzu, now called Ben. After the tragic loss of Molly the house felt so empty so I decided to adopt a rescue dog. I found Ben on the http://www.friendsofbendogrescue.com/ website by a total fluke. So I rang straight away to see if he still needed a home. A week later, he was rehomed with me and is doing really well. Ben was found totally neglected, matted and underweight. He is such a clever, happy, effectionate little dude. I am so chuffed he is living with us now.
